Notice of proposed ordinance amendment: An ordinance amending Section 154.225 pertaining to number of parking stalls required for senior citizen housing
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Jordan, Scott County, Minnesota, will conduct a public hearing to accept public input on the following proposed text amendment to the City’s Zoning Ordinance:
Section 154.225, A, 6. will be amended to reduce the number of required off-street parking spaces required for senior citizen housing from one parking space per dwelling unit and sufficient expansion area (proof of parking) for an additional 2 parking spaces per dwelling unit to one parking space per dwelling unit and sufficient expansion area (proof of parking) for an additional 0.2 parking spaces per dwelling unit.
The public hearing will be conducted on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at approximately 6:30 p.m. or shortly thereafter at the Jordan City Council Chambers, located at 116 east First Street in the City of Jordan Minnesota. The Jordan City Council is tentatively scheduled to consider this item at their regular meeting on Monday, June 18, 2018 at approximately 6:30 p.m. or shortly thereafter at the same location.
