The City of Jordan is seeking applicants for Police Officer (part-time) positions. Pay starts at $23.20 hourly. Position entails performing intermediate protective service work performing a variety of general and police support duty assignments, enforcing laws, investigating criminal activity, ensuring safety of public, testifying in court, maintaining records and files, preparing reports, and related work as apparent or assigned. Applicants must meet all minimum requirement. Applicants are required to submit a cover letter and resume in addition to the City employment application. An EMT is a person who is trained to give emergency medical care at the scene of an accident or in an ambulance. An EMT in this position will serve on-call between 40 and 60 hours each month. Training will be provided for those who are not EMT certified but willing to obtain the certification. EMTs are paid an on-call wage and an hourly wage when responding to calls.
