The State of Minnesota recently passed 2 laws that allow for the sale, consumption, and manufacturing of cannabis products. The City of Jordan has followed suit by updating local ordinances in reaction to the recently passed legislation. The City has currently updated city ordinances to regulate and permit the following:
- The retail sales of low potency edibles/edible cannabinoid products in specifically zoned areas of the city.
- To allow for the manufacture of cannabinoid products in the I-2 General Industrial zoning district
- To prohibit the use of cannabis products on public property and areas generally accessible to the public unless you have a special event permit or your state license allows for on-site consumption
