NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDMENT TO CITY CODE CHAPTER 154 TABLE A, RESIDENTIAL LOT REQUIREMENTS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of Jordan, Scott County, Minnesota, will vote on the proposed ordinance amendment to Chapter 154 Table A to decrease the minimum lot area required per dwelling unit for multiple family developments in the R-4 District from 2,000 square feet per unit to 1,320 square feet per unit, which will increase the maximum density in the R-4 District from 21.78 to 33 units per acre. The vote will occur at the July 2, 2018 meeting at 6:30 p.m. or shortly thereafter, at the Jordan City Council Chambers, located at 116 East First Street in the City of Jordan, Minnesota.
Adoption Request: The Ordinance will reduce the minimum lot area required per dwelling unit for multiple family developments in the R-4 District from 2,000 square feet per unit to 1,320 square feet per unit, which will increase the maximum density in the R-4 District 21.78 to 33 units per acre.
