Notice of Filing for Municipal Election
Affidavits for Candidacy may be filed from July 30th through Tuesday, August 13th. Offices will be filled and voted on in the general Election on November 5, 2024.
Mayor: (One) Seat for a four-year term January 1, 2025-2028
Councilmember: (Three) Seats for a four-year term January 1, 2025-2028
The candidate must pay a filing fee of $2.00 to the City Clerk at City Hall, 210 East First Street, Jordan, MN 55352, during regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays. City Council candidates must be eligible to vote, will be at least 21 years old upon assuming office, and will have been a resident of the City for 30 days before the election. Live within the limits of Jordan City.
