It’s been about 4 years since owner Kathy Lapic took over at Water Street Antiques in historic downtown Jordan. Water Street is a regular contributor to downtown events such as Ladies Night Out. The City of Jordan is proud to make Water Street Antiques business of the week this week.

Partnership between Ridgeview and the City of Jordan creates new EMT Positions

Want to serve your community as an EMT?

The City of Jordan has partnered with Ridgeview Medical Center to begin provide an ambulance service for City residents. EMTs are needed to help staff this new program.

Training will be provided for those who are not EMT Certified but willing to obtain the certification.

The success of the program relies on the ability to generate interest from the community to provide enough EMTs to cover shifts and respond on calls.

City of Jordan Announces the Opening of Grassmann Park on Saturday August 17th.

The City of Jordan is excited to announce the opening of Grassmann Park on Saturday, August 17th from 10 am to 12 pm.

The highly anticipated Challenge Course by Gametime is the first of its kind, offering a Pro and a Youth Challenge Course in the same location.

About the Event:

The ninja-themed grand opening event will have free tacos for the first 100 visitors, which will be supplied by local catering company All-in-One Delia’s Authentic Home Flavor. Special guest Leif Sundberg, otherwise known as the “Swedish Ninja” from the television show American Ninja Warrior, will also be in attendance. There will be opportunities for all age groups to use and compete on the course, and the fastest times in each age bracket will be awarded prizes.

More About the Park:

The unique design and equipment in the park provides opportunities for all ages to compete and experience the challenge simultaneously. The park is an obstacle course destination, designed with elements of the popular televised American Ninja Warrior races that are used to encourage children and families to be more active outdoors together. The course is timed and utilizes an app by Gametime which allows users to record and compare their personal times with others around the country.
