The Park and Recreation Commission has the responsibility of advising the City Council on park maintenance, development plats, park planning, and policies. The mission of the City of Jordan Park and Recreation Commission is to strive for quality and fiscally responsible recreation opportunities while recognizing the wants and needs of the community.

Meetings occur the third Monday of every other month (unless otherwise noted) at 6:30 p.m. Meeting dates for 2024 are listed below:

Members

There are five members of the Park and Recreation Commission, including one City Council ex-officio member. Commissioners serve two-year terms, with no term limits, and the ex-officio member is appointed annually by the Mayor.
