Utility Rates

Utility bills are processed monthly to residential and commercial properties.  Items included on the bills include:

  • Water – flat and actual usage charges
  • Sewer – flat and winter average usage charges
  • Storm Water
  • Water Testing Fees
  • Street Lighting Fees

The rates, effective January 1, 2022 are as follows:

Water

  • $11.25 / month – availability charge
  • $6.15 / 1,000 gallons – based on actual usage
  • $7.87 / 1,000 gallons for 15,000-30,000 gallons/month
  • $9.58 / 1,000 gallons over 30,000 gallons/month

Sewer

  • $14.73 / month – availability charge
  • $7.15 / 1,000 gallon – based on winter average usage

Storm Water Fees – helps pay for maintenance on storm water infrastructure

  • $7.07 / month – residential
  • $21.23 / acre / month – commercial

Street Lighting Fees – helps pay for the maintenance and service of city street lights

  • $1.97 / lot / month – residential
  • $4.57 / lot / month – commercial
