State requirements for businesses have changed over the course of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Buisnesses are encouraged to begin with the information on this page, but to also contact the City or State with further questions.
COVID-19 Preparedness Plan Requirement:
To reopen, businesses need to have a COVID-19 Preparedness Plan, and ensure proper Social Distancing protocols. A template of the COVID-19 Preparedness plan, and other guidance and limitations on reopening, can be found on MN DEED’s website.
Face Covering Requirement
According to Minnesota Executive Order 20-81, Businesses are responsible for enforcing the face covering mandate. Guidance on the requirements can be found here.
