Grand Opening of Growlers Sales is October 13, 2017!  Event information

Roets Jordan Brewery, in the spirit of generations of Jordan brewers, the Roets Family brings the craft of brewing back to the City of Jordan.  Conveniently located on Broadway Street (Highway 21) in the historic downtown Jordan.

Spacious tap room with plenty of room for your large party or small group.  Come by yourself and enjoy the friendly atmosphere.  Their welcoming service makes you feel at home.  Roets is now Open Sundays for football!

Wonderful outdoor seating options available in the backyard bier garden area.  A peaceful place to enjoy a beer and talk with your friends or enjoy a meal with your family.

Many craft beers on tap to choose from each day.  Roets beer Jordan Black, the Bearded Lad, Mocha, Hoppy and Juicy are all gaining local favor.  They really have something for every taste including free bottled water for any non-drinkers.

 

Great Jordan beer brewed in the downstairs brewery.  Ask for a tour and you will see the operations.  The Roets’ are more than willing to explain the process and show you the equipment.

Business of the Week:  Jordan Area Food Shelf

The Jordan Area Food Shelf has been serving Jordan residents since 2010.  Each month they help feed over 740 families in need.  Nutritious food options provided for households of multiple sizes.  The food shelf runs like a grocery store shopping experience.  They have friendly welcoming volunteer helpers to guide all the shoppers through the food shelf shopping each week.

Open Saturdays 9am to noon and the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.  Located at 131 1st Street East in Downtown Jordan.

The Jordan Area Food Shelf manages with mostly local donations and volunteer help.  If you are interested in helping out or providing a donation of food or money please call 952-444-0648.  They can buy $9 worth of food for ever dollar you donate.  Come on out and help serve your community.

Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17, 2017

St. John’s Annual Fall Festival Celebration begins on Saturday night at 5pm with Mass followed by music in the tent by Tom Colling’s band Cocktails for Two plus food for the whole family.  Sunday’s activities include Polka Mass at 10:00 am provided by the Wendinger Band who will then play outside in the tent, Chicken and Ham dinner, Funland, Bingo, handmade Quilt auction, and much, much more!  It is sure to be a huge success with the continued support and cooperation from all the parishioners. We look forward to seeing each and every one of you as we celebrate gathering together as a faith community. Your dedication and commitment to serve is truly appreciated. Please pray daily for a successful Fall Festival.

Fall Festival is completely volunteer lead and staffed. The generosity of parishioners shine in preparations and execution of this community building event!  You, too, can share your gifts in one of the many volunteer opportunities at the festival.

Business of the Week:  Heimatfest Jordan Annual Community Festival

Family Fun – Food – Fireworks:

Heimatfest has something for everyone in the family. Friday night kicks off with a car cruise, food booths, and street dance in downtown Jordan.  Saturday is a full day of events, food fare, music, and fun! Check out the schedule of events for more details.  From pork patties, to walking tacos, to a refreshing scoop of ice cream… Heimatfest has many food options to choose from.

An event like this isn’t complete without a spectacular fireworks show! Find a comfortable spot in the park to get a fantastic view of the beautiful fireworks as they display their many colors over the pond.

Our Team:

Elizabeth Thelemann, D.D.S specializes in family and cosmetic dentistry.   She shares her expertise with people of all ages at her family practice with specialization in cosmetic dentistry, including dental implant restoration.  She is also a fluent Spanish speaker.  In addition, Elizabeth is certified to work with Invisalign braces.  She is a member of the Minnesota Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Elizabeth grew up near Le Seur, MN at her family’s dairy farm.  It was there during high school that she first worked in a dental office and became interested in dentistry.  After finishing high school, Elizabeth studied at the University of Minnesota, graduating from their School of Dentistry in 2003.  She began her dental practice in St. Paul before eventually moving to the Jordan area several years later.

Currently, she enjoys keeping busy at Jordan Dental Care and challenging herself to always be up to date with the most modern dental technology and treatments.

Giving back to the community is also important to Elizabeth.  She offers dental services on a volunteer basis to special needs patients and works with the Jordan Area Chamber of Commerce.

Our entire office shares a passionate commitment to improving the dental health of patients. We use a team-focused approach to dental care which provides exceptional patient care and makes it possible for a patient-centered approach to dentistry. Members of our clinical staff are: Nancy H.
