Join the City of Jordan’s Fire Department for an annual fundraiser event this Saturday, August 10! Proceeds from the event will support the Fire Department.
It’s that time of the year! Mark your calendar for Summer Sidewalk Sale on Saturday, July 27. Help support local businesses while taking advantage of good deals.
What: Join the businesses in Downtown Jordan for sales and specials in all of your favorite stores!
The following businesses will be featured: Roets Brewery, Sassy Kat Boutique, The Hub, Laney Bird Store, Snips Salon, Water Street Antiques, Bluff Creek Boutique, Love on Harlow Boutique, Creek Water Memories, Iris Valley Boutique, and The Vinery.
Save the date! Join Mar and Linda for their 6th annual Motorcycle/Car Run with a Pig Roast! It’s a family friendly event with activities later in the day!
This year, part of Mar and Linda’s proceeds are going to Sara Lobatos and her family!
With her infant daughter just 9 months old, Sara was diagnosed with breast cancer. Sarah is currently receiving aggressive chemotherapy and is missing some work while medical and household bills are adding up. It will be a long road ahead for her and her husband Christian. Just when you think things couldn’t get any worse, the mother of Sara’s 2 stepchildren died tragically in a snowmobile accident. Sarah and Christian now have a household of 6!
Mar and Linda aim to help families like Sara’s. Bring your friends and family and come support us for a good cause and a good time!
Registration for the run starts at 12 p.m. (noon) on the day of the run. The run leaves the Tap Room at 2:00 p.m. and will return around 6:00 p.m.
For those who do not participate in the run, a pig roast and plenty of fun starts at 5 p.m. in the Jordan Tap Room.
When: Friday, June 7th. Mark your calendars for St. John’s 19th Annual Golf Event & Bingo!

Our Story Continues;
On June 2, 2017, at the age of 21, Nick lost his battle with mental illness.

Many people who know Nick credit him for always being there for when they were suffering and struggling; he would drop everything to be there for a friend in crisis. Even with the support of his family, partner Brian, close friends and though he tried to help himself by reaching out for help by getting psychiatric care and medication, in the end, the lies told by mental illness took him from us.

It is because of Nick that we are continuing “his story” by joining forces with NAMI MN to raise awareness for mental illness and erase the stigma associated with suicide.

For more information about NAMI Minnesota, go to their website – www.namihelps.org.
We welcome you to join us in our efforts to raise money for mental illness awareness, suicide prevention, education in schools and to support our charitable partner, NAMI Minnesota.
