Cannabis FAQ

1. How many cannabis retail license are allowed in the City of Jordan?

The City of Jordan allows a limited number of retail cannabis licenses, consistent with state law and local zoning regulations. The specific number is determined by city ordinance and may be adjusted as state rules evolve. As of now the city can have 2 retail license maximum.

2. Will the city be handling the local registration on a first come first serve basis?

Yes, registration for cannabis retail license is first come, first served. 

3. Does the City have its own local registration forms, or will it rely on notifications from the Office of Cannabis Management (OCM)?

The City of Jordan has its own application and registration form but will need to submit an OCM license as well. Please see the attachments below for more information and details.
