NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER A ZONING TEXT AMENDMENT TO ALLOW PRIVATE PARKS IN THE CENTRAL BUSINESS ZONING DISTRICT.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Jordan, Scott County, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing at the Jordan City Council Chambers, located at 116 East First Street in the City of Jordan, Minnesota on June 14, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. or shortly thereafter to consider approval of amendments to the zoning code that would allow private parks in the C-2 district. The amendments include adding a definition of a private park in § 154.020, amending § 154.143 (L) to add private parks as a conditional use in the Central Business (C-2) Zoning District, and adding language distinguishing private and public parks use in the C-2 Zoning District in § 154.142 (F).
