With Fall being here, compost is going to go on the rise! Buckingham will host a free fall compost pick-up service on your service day on Wednesday, October 23rd, and Thursday, October 24th. Please call Buckingham to schedule a pick-up at 952-226-6441.
All compost picked up (grass clippings, leaves, etc.) must be bagged in brown paper compostable bags. • Any twigs, branches, and brush that need to be collected can be either bagged in brown paper compostable bags or bundled with twine. Bundles must not exceed four feet in length, and the diameter of any branches must not be any larger than 3”.  No logs, stumps, or branches are larger than the abovementioned parameters. • No personal compost containers (55-gallon trash containers), as our drivers cannot utilize the tipping functions on our trucks to dump those containers.
