NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDMENT REQUEST FROM THE CITY OF JORDAN:
An Ordinance of the City of Jordan, Minnesota, amending Jordan MN Code of Ordinances
- §150.111-150.115, §§150.119-150.121, §150.124, and §150.131
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Jordan, Scott County, Minnesota, will vote on the proposed ordinance amendment of the City of Jordan’s Ordinance 2017-05 amending Jordan, MN Code of Ordinances §§150.111-150.115, §§150.119-150.121, §150.124, and §150.131 regarding the update to City regulations to include provisions regarding small wireless facility placement within the right of way.
The vote will occur at the December 4, 2017 meeting at 6:30 p.m. or shortly thereafter, at the Jordan City Council Chambers, located at 116 East First Street in the City of Jordan, Minnesota.
Adoption Request: The Jordan, MN Code of Ordinances currently does not address small wireless facilities placed in the right-of-way upon either city owned or controlled property or property owned by others (other utilities). The proposed amendments are meant to implement the authority outlined in the M.S. §§237.162 and 237.163.
