NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDMENT REQUEST FROM THE CITY OF JORDAN: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING JORDAN, MN CODE OF ORDINANCES CHAPTER 115, SECTION 115. 09 EXEMPTIONS OF LICENSE APPLICATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Jordan, Scott County, Minnesota, will vote on the proposed ordinance amendment request for the City of Jordan’s Peddlers/Solicitors/ and Transient Merchant Ordinance. The vote will occur at the March 5, 2018 meeting at 6:30 p.m. or shortly thereafter, at the Jordan City Council Chambers, located at 116 East First Street in the City of Jordan, Minnesota.
Adoption Request: The Ordinance will allow non-profits and non-Jordan businesses to participate at city festivals and events where the activity of transient merchant sales is neither a Jordan non-profit or associated with a brick and mortar physical site within the Jordan City limits.
