NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDMENT REQUEST FROM THE CITY OF JORDAN: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE CHAPTER 115 PERTAINING TO TRANSIENT MERCHANT LICENSING EXEMPTIONS IN JORDAN, MN CODE OF ORDINANCES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Jordan, Scott County, Minnesota, will vote on the proposed ordinance amendment request for the City of Jordan’s Peddlers/Solicitors/ and Transient Merchant Ordinance. The vote will occur at the May 7, 2018 meeting at 6:30 p.m. or shortly thereafter, at the Jordan City Council Chambers, located at 116 East First Street in the City of Jordan, Minnesota.

Adoption Request: The Ordinance will exempt organizations and businesses with brick and mortar sites within Jordan city limits from the transient merchant licensing requirements for special events if they have received approval from the event coordinator.
