What:

Ladies Night Out is a event hosted by local businesses and this month it’s a great opportunity to kick off your holiday season shopping, or just to take advantage of great specials and deals. Whether it’s shopping, a spa date, or taking advantage of happy hour specials – there’s something for everyone!

When: Thursday, October 24

  • 5 – 8 pm Ladies Night Out Specials around Jordan
  • 8:30 pm Prize Raffle Drawing begins at Roets Jordan Brewing

Business/Event of the Week: 15th Annual Jordan Craft and Gift Boutique

Join the Jordan Elementary PTO this Saturday as they host the 15th Annual Jordan Craft and Gift Boutique at the CERC! There you can find anything from fun crafts and gifts to food from local vendors.

What:

Browse unique and quality items from over 100 local vendors as well as some from the five state surrounding area.  Lunch and snacks will be available for purchase.

All proceeds will go to Jordan Elementary School PTO. The PTO supports a number of activities for Jordan’s Elementary School including sponsoring all field trips, family fun day, annual elementary school dance and requested additional needs of the teachers and school administration.

Fall weather is officially here – continue to enjoy family friendly fall activities at the Sever’s Fall Festival!

What: Sever’s Fall Festival has been in operation for over 20 years, providing fun fall activities such as a giant corn maze, jumping pillows, pumpkin picking, an exotic petting zoo, giant slide, hay rides, and much more.

Business/Event of the Week: “We Got This” Stout Release Party and Fundraiser

Event of the Week: “We Got This” Stout Release Party – Nickel Open Fundraiser

Join Roets Jordan Brewery as they celebrate the release of a new Stout to raise funds for the Nickel Open!

What: Gil & Sherrie Hunstad won a bid for the “Brewer for the Day” package, benefiting Nickel Open and the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

They brewed “We Got This” Stout – an Irish Extra Stout – and will release it at the event. There will also be a silent auction, food truck and Roets will donate a portion of sales to further awareness of mental illness, one of the leading causes of death among young people in the U.S.

$1 from every pint, and $5 from every growler sold, will be donated back to the Nickel Open Fund.

When: Saturday, September 28th from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

  • 3 p.m. – Brewery Doors Open
  • 6 – 10 p.m. – Door Prizes, Auction, and Food

Event of the Week: Heimatfest

September’s here, and school has started, but that doesn’t mean the party is over. Join the annual festivities at Heimatfest this weekend!

When: Friday, September 6 and Saturday, September 7

What: Heimatfest has something for everyone in the family:

  • Friday night kicks off with a car cruise, food booths, and street dance in downtown Jordan.  
  • Saturday is a full day of events, food fare, music, and fun! Check out the schedule of events for more details.  From pork patties, to walking tacos, to a refreshing scoop of ice cream… Heimatfest has many food options to choose from.

Where: Lagoon Park, the Mini Met, and Downtown Jordan (see schedule of events)

Parking: Jordan Middle School’s lot, Log Cabin (on-street parking only), and Schule Haus (on street parking only).

Shuttle Bus: a shuttle will run from the above parking areas to the event in Lagoon Park from noon-7:00 p.m.
